NOTES SYNC FOR ANDROID

Terms

Updated 17 October 2026

Notes Sync is a preview application for creating and synchronizing your own notes between Android and the Gmail Notes mailbox used by Apple Notes. Connect only accounts you own or are authorized to use. Google sign-in and access to Gmail are governed by Google's own account and authorization terms.

Synchronization

The app works directly from the phone. Background synchronization depends on connectivity, Google access, and Android scheduling. There is no promise of instant delivery or compatibility with every Apple Notes format. Attachments and unsupported formatting are read-only.

Your data

Keep an independent copy of important notes. You can export an account or local notes as HTML, text and downloaded attachments in a ZIP archive; automatic database restore is not provided. Clearing app storage or uninstalling it removes local data, including unsynced changes. Editing or deleting a synchronized note can also change the Gmail and iPhone copies. Conflicts require you to choose a version.

You can use on-device notes without connecting Google, disconnect individual accounts, and revoke access from your Google Account. See our Privacy Policy for data handling and deletion details.

Support

Use the support tracker or the developer support email displayed on Google's consent screen. Never send passwords, access tokens, or private note contents.
